I'm getting ready for my trip to ORC in California next week. Very excited about seeing Dom in person again. But I'm more excited about meeting old friends, and hopefully making some new ones. If you see a skinny white girl with cropped brown hair standing in Dom's autograph line with her Series 1 boxed set clutched to her bosom, do come over and say hello. Sorry about the lack of new content! Things have been very busy around here with my new job, working on my novel, and now the holidays. I'm hoping to get back to regular updates after the new year! Things have been pretty crazy for me lately, what with starting a new job and trying to find a new car. I haven't had much time for updates. But never fear! I'm not abandoning this place any time soon. There just hasn't been much to update. I've got a new set of TV listings on the broadcast page -- next on the agenda is working on the quote list and episode summaries. I'm also considering setting up a mailing-list to alert when I update, but I'm checking out the interest in that before I go to the trouble. Hope everyone is enjoying their Season 1 DVDs, watching Lost, and getting ready for the RotK EEDVD in December. It's a good time to be a Dom fan, isn't it? September 8, 2004 Hurricanes Charley (heh) and Frances have been occupying us all down here in Florida lately, but things are now getting back to normal. Wanted to give a quick update to remind you that Season 1 is now available on Region 1 DVD! See the DVD page for some links, or check your favorite store. The more of these we can get sold, the greater the chance that the other three seasons will be released. Congratulations, you guys, our hard work paid off. RL intrudes from time to time, and before you know it two months have gone by with no updates. Poor neglected website! Actually there's not much to report. I'm getting plenty of alerts on how Hetty's *not* being shown on TV, but not much news on DVDs or anything like that. The big updates this time are some great scans of interviews with Dom from his Geoff days, which you can find on the Dominic page. A big thank you to Mithlond for those! Please credit her if you take them. Also, I'm putting up a few more quotes (thank you to all who have sent some in!) and updating the (lack of) TV alerts on the broadcast page. I'll keep you guys posted if I hear anything, and please don't hesitate to email me! March 31, 2004 The new version of Shawcrossing is open! Since I started this thing last summer we've gained enough popularity that I thought it deserved its own domain. Don'tforget to change your bookmarks to www.shawcrossing.com, as the old version at dbl will be disappearing soon. Now that I've got the place spiffed up and updated, I will be focusing on content. Andraste is working on the rest of the episode summaries and I'm collecting more items for the quote page. I should be uploading those this weekend.
